Kick-start your entrepreneurial journey with UTS Startups, an on-campus incubator for students with game-changing ideas. You'll gain access to a free co-working space, mentoring, funding opportunities, workshops and industry events, as well as a range of in-house initiatives to help you build your pitching and business skills. And you won't do it alone: UTS Startups is Australia's largest student-launched startup community, having already helped more than 300 student-led businesses on their road to growth.

At UTS, study isn’t something that just happens in the classroom. We want students to ’Think Global’. With our suite of global programs, you can choose from a wide range of virtual or overseas experiences as part of your degree. You’ll gain a global mindset, a range of professional competencies and the leadership skills you need for a truly international career.

Global Short Programs

Want a taster of international experience? Spend 2–6 weeks in another country during Summer or Winter break. Most Global Short Programs are available across all UTS faculties, so that you can receive course credit while you travel. And what is more, there are numerous scholarships to make it happen!

Global Exchange

UTS is home to one of the largest global opportunities programs in Australia. Apply for our Global Exchange Program and spend one to two sessions at one of our 240 partner universities in more than 40 countries around the world.

Build Global Leadership

Develop your global mindset whilst harnessing your leadership potential in the UTS BUILD Program. Starting with your identity as a global citizen, the program exposes you to global issues and ideas and develops your leadership skills to deliver positive global impact. Join interactive workshops, learn from inspiring speakers, and participate in community activities and more. Bachelor of Arts in International Studies

Combine your degree with the Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and spend a year immersing yourself in the culture and language of another country.

Diploma in Languages

Add a Diploma in Languages to your degree. Choose from Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese or Spanish and expand your career opportunities in an increasingly globalised world.
