HSC students set to enjoy Christmas

14 Dec 2018

MANY NSW HSC students will be getting an early Christmas present. Their ATARs were released today and they won’t have long to wait to find out if they’ve been offered a place at uni.

The Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) will release offers next week, in December Round 2, on Thursday 20 December. Applicants can check if they have an offer on the My UAC mobile app or on UAC’s website from 7.30am.

Last year more than 42,000 students were able to enjoy the festive season and start planning for 2019.

Kim Paino, General Manager of Marketing and Engagement at UAC, says ‘The pre-Christmas offer round ensures that offers are made to as many students as possible and as soon as possible, so students don’t have an agonising wait to find out if they’ve got into a course.’

Other Australian Year 12 students and IB students whose results are not available in time for December Round 2 will not be disadvantaged: their results will be considered in the January offer rounds.

Further information is available on UAC’s website.
