Major milestone for HSC students: ATARs released this week

16 Dec 2024

NSW Year 12 students are set to achieve a major milestone this week as they receive their Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) from 9am on Wednesday 18 December.

Students will receive an email with a link to the ATAR login page. UAC applicants will also receive an SMS with a link. To log in, students need their NESA Year 12 student number and UAC PIN.

They will also be able to access and store their ATAR in the free digital wallet, CredFolio. Instructions on how to register will be sent via email.

Students have until 11.59pm on Wednesday 18 December to change their preferences for December Round 2 offers on Monday 23 December.

While Year 12 students like Sienna Edwards may be feeling a little nervous, ‘I just hope that my studying and consistency throughout my senior studies has paid off,’ she said, there is lots of support available.

For expert advice on handling multiple offers, fine-tuning preferences and making the most of adjustment factors UAC will be holding a live session at 6pm on Tuesday 17 December. Students can watch live on YouTube or Facebook.

If HSC students have specific questions about the calculation of their ATAR, they can call UAC’s ATAR Enquiry Centre on (02) 9119 5012 from 8.30am on 18 December. The centre will also be open on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 December.

For application and general enquiries, students can call UAC Customer Service on (02) 9752 0200 from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, with extended hours until 6.30pm on 18 December.

For interviews with UAC Interim Managing Director Kim Paino and Year 12 students, contact UAC media.
