Applications steady for uni in 2023

UNIVERSITY application statistics for 2023 have been released today by the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC). At the end of November, 69,179* people had applied through UAC for study in 2023. This includes almost 40,000 NSW HSC students who are waiting on the release of university offers later this week.

Many students have also applied directly to individual universities for study next year to maximise their chances of receiving an offer. UAC has processed another 86,508^ of these applications on behalf of individual universities.#

It’s important to note that these figures are as at 30 November only. Applications for first semester 2023 are open until Friday 3 February 2023.
