Undergraduate first preferences and offers by institution (2016-2023)

The Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) processes applications for participating institutions, mainly universities in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory or those with campuses in these states. It is the largest tertiary admissions centre in Australia.

The following data shows undergraduate preferences and total offers by participating institutions.

2023

In 2022-23, UAC had 27 participating institutions offering undergraduate courses and all of these offered undergraduate courses to international students.

2022

In 2021-22, UAC had 29 participating institutions offering undergraduate courses and all of these offered undergraduate courses to international students.

2021

In 2020-21, UAC had 27 participating institutions offering undergraduate courses with 19 offering undergraduate courses to international students.

2020

In 2019-20, UAC had 27 participating institutions offering undergraduate courses with 16 offering undergraduate courses to international students.

2019

In 2018-19, UAC had 27 participating institutions offering undergraduate courses with 15 offering undergraduate courses to international students.

Note: The 2018-19 admissions cycle was shorter than previous admission cycles. It ran from 1 August 2018 to 8 February 2019. Previous year application cycles typically opened from early August but closed in July of the following year.

In 2017-18, UAC had 26 participating institutions offering undergraduate courses with 15 offering undergraduate courses to international students.

2017

In 2016-17, UAC had 26 participating institutions offering undergraduate courses with 19 offering undergraduate courses to international students.
