New football degrees

This year ACPE has launched Australia’s very first football degrees:

  • Bachelor of Football (Development, Management and Performance)
  • Associate Degree of Football (Development, Management and Performance)
  • Diploma of Football (Development, Management and Performance)

These degrees have been designed closely with experts within the football industry to explore a range of football codes in three distinct areas including, football development, management, and performance.

The Bachelor of Football (Development, Management and Performance) is a unique degree that exposes students to guest speakers, has embedded additional short courses and qualifications and includes learning in different environments within the football landscape. Another important aspect of the degree is the work-integrated learning program that allows students to apply their theoretical knowledge in the workforce prior to graduating.

ACPE also offers undergraduate short courses including the Undergraduate Certificate of Sport Coaching. This is a 6-month online course specifically for individuals working within the sport coaching or related industry for at least 2 years.

The course develops professional knowledge and skills to enhance current practice and further career development.
