Admission criteria and entry schemes

To be offered a place in a course at Torrens University Australia you must meet the minimum entry requirements listed in one or more of the following categories as well as satisfy English language requirements.

Undergraduate applicants

Australian Year 12 students

Selection will be based on completion of an Australian Year 12 or equivalent , including the International Baccalaureate (IB).

Overseas Year 12 equivalent

Applicants who have completed a secondary school qualification from an overseas institution within the past two-years, will have their application assessed by the International Admissions team to determine equivalency with the Australia secondary school certificate, using NOOSR and/or NARIC guidelines

Criteria that may apply in addition to a Year 12 qualification

In addition to achieving the standard admission criteria, students may also be required to satisfy additional selection criteria, such as a personal statement, a questionnaire, and a portfolio of work, an audition, an interview or a test. These criteria are taken into account either instead of, or in conjunction with, your Year 12 qualification or equivalent.

Details on additional selection requirements are outlined in the course descriptions in the UAC course search.
