Macquarie University recognises a number of English language tests as proof of English language proficiency. These are set out in the following tables, together with the minimum results required.

PTE Online, IELTS Online, TOEFL iBT home edition and OET@Home tests are not assessed.

  • at least 2 years of secondary education that was taught and assessed solely in English in a recognised country; and
  • tertiary qualifications on which you are relying to support your eligibility for registration under National Law, which were taught and assessed sole in English in a recognised country; or
  • other pathways as specified by AHPRA.
