AIE Institute is a specialist game development higher education provider that offers a Bachelor of Game Development with three separate majors in game art, game design and game programming. AIE Institute builds upon the Academy of Interactive Entertainment’s history as Australia’s most awarded 3D animation, game development, film and visual effects educator. Created in 1996 as a vocational non-profit organisation to grow the creative digital sector, the Academy of Interactive Entertainment pioneered the development of specialist game qualifications. Academy graduates can be found working around the world on games like GTA V, Destiny and Gears of War 5 at major games studios such as Wargaming, Epic Games, Mighty Kingdom and Rockstar.

AIE Institute has leveraged the best aspects of the Academy of Interactive Entertainment’s focus on practical skills and industry relevance and applied the academic rigour of higher education.
