Elite Athlete and Performer Scheme
Performer eligibility
Elite Athlete and Performer Scheme applications are open. You can apply for EAPS from your completed undergraduate application.
This scheme applies to semester 1, 2026 undergraduate offers only. UAC is continuing to work with institutions to finalise their participation in the scheme. Applicants may be considered for adjustment factors or other admission considerations as institutions come on board.
To be eligible for the Elite Athlete and Performer Scheme as a performer, you must have achieved significant success in a major artistic, performing arts or production company at state, national or international levels.
For your application to be considered, you need to:
- meet the eligibility criteria
- demonstrate involvement in at least one recognised artistic organisation
- provide at least one supporting document as evidence of your performance achievements or participation.
Applicants must meet at least one of the following success and membership criteria:
- membership and significant success in major artistic, performing arts or production companies at national or international levels
- success in a major national or international competition
- have a contract with a recognised production company or music producer
- demonstrated success as an independent performing artist or creative practitioner.
Performers must demonstrate involvement at a state or national level in organisations such as:
- national or state arts companies
- Actors Equity Australia
- Australian Dance Council
- Australian Dance Theatre
- Australian Chamber Orchestra
- Symphony Australia Company
- Opera Australia or a state opera organisation
- Australian or state ballet companies
- Australian All Star Cheerleading Federation.
Applicants must provide at least one of the following:
- letter of membership or engagement from a relevant artistic organisation
- evidence of significant success in performances, such as reviews or program listings
- record of audition processes and sustained performances
- evidence of competition success at a national or international level
- third-party corroboration, such as a director’s statement or official website references.
