UAC welcomes announcement from Education Council

08 Apr 2020

THE Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) welcomes yesterday’s announcement from the Education Council on senior secondary schooling and university admissions in 2021.

The Council confirmed that Year 12 students will be able to achieve their Senior Secondary Certificate of Education this year as well as an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).

Kim Paino, General Manager of Marketing and Engagement at UAC wants to reassure students that UAC is working with universities, NESA, schools and other stakeholders to ensure that Year 12 students can still reach their goals.

‘These are no doubt challenging times, but it’s clear that governments and universities across the country are united in their commitment to helping students through Year 12 and onto university.’

UAC is also here to help so please get in touch if you need advice or reassurance. You can call our customer service team on 1300 275 822 (or 02 9752 0200 from mobiles) or join our Facebook live forum at 4pm today to ask a question.

UAC has published a response to COVID-19 on its website. Further updates will be available as information comes to hand.
