Thousands of students are off to uni
MORE than 35,000 hopeful university applicants can breathe a sigh of relief with the release today of December Round 2 offers for study in 2024.
Applicants will receive their offers via email from 7.30am and can also view them by logging in to their application on UAC's website.
‘This is the first ATAR-based offer round,’ Kim Paino, Chief Strategy and Engagement Officer, Universities Admissions Centre (UAC), said. ‘These 35,887 offers are important because they’re made to many of the high-demand courses and even students with an early offer may been holding out for this round.’
Universities have also released the Lowest Selection Rank (previously known as a cut-off) required for entry into each course. This information will be on the UAC website from 7.30am. It can be used by applicants looking to change their preferences for the offer rounds still to come.
Applicants have until 11.59pm on Thursday 4 January 2024 to change preferences to be included in January Round 1 on Thursday 11 January.
And if they haven’t applied yet it’s not too late – applications for study in semester 1 are open until Friday 2 February 2024. More information is available on UAC’s website.
For more information, applicants can visit UAC’s website or call UAC on (+61 2) 9752 0200.
