Over 40,000 students ready to embark on their university journey
Over 40,000 university applicants can breathe a sigh of relief today with the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) releasing December Round 2 offers for study in 2025.
From 7.30am, applicants will receive their offers via email. They can also check their results by logging into their application on UAC’s website.
‘This is the first ATAR-based offer round,’ said Kim Paino, UAC Interim Managing Director. ‘These 40,116 offers are significant for students as they include many high-demand courses. We encourage those who received an offer to accept it and for those that either didn’t receive their first choice or didn’t receive an offer at all to change their preferences for the next round of offers. There are lots of pathways to further study available but if you’re not sure what to do next please reach out to UAC.’
Universities have also published the Lowest Selection Rank (formerly known as cut-offs) required for course entry. This information will be on UAC’s website from 7.30am on Monday to help applicants refine their course preferences ahead of upcoming offer rounds.
Applicants have until 11.59pm on Thursday 2 January 2025 to change their preferences for the next offer round (January Round 1) on Thursday 9 January.
For those who haven’t yet applied, there’s still time! Applications for semester 1, 2025 remain open until Friday 7 February 2025.
For more information, visit UAC’s website or call UAC Customer Service on (02) 9752 0200 from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
