​Last chance for early bird applications

PROSPECTIVE students have until midnight next Friday 29 September to submit an early bird application for first semester 2018 through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC).

It’s not too late after this date – they can still apply until Monday 5 February 2018 – but the cost increases after 29 September.

Applying during the early bird period will not only help their budget, it means students can have their application for uni study ready to go before their exams start. They can then focus on giving their studies their best effort and come back and change their preferences later.

There is no charge for changing your UAC application, and you can do it as many times as you like.

Last year 21,660 applications (more than 30 per cent of early bird applications) were made in the last week. UAC advises applicants not to leave applying until the last minute as they could miss the early bird deadline.
