Early offers released

THE Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) has released more than 14,200 Schools Recommendation Scheme (SRS) early offers to Year 12 students today.

SRS offers are usually based on criteria other than a student’s ATAR, such as their Year 11 results and ratings from their school.

Kim Paino, Chief Strategy and Engagement Officer, UAC says, ‘Having now finished their exams, this will be welcome news for many students, as it takes the pressure off reliance on their final results and ATAR.'

The next major offer round for students will be ATAR-based and released on Thursday 21 December.

Students will receive their ATAR at 9am on Thursday 14 December and will need to change their course preferences by midnight on Friday 15 December to have them considered in this offer round.
