ATARs will be released on 20 January

10 Sep 2021

THE Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) has announced that the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) for 2021 NSW HSC students will now be released at 9am on Thursday 20 January 2022.

The first ATAR-based offer round for Year 12 students will now be released at 7.30am on Wednesday 26 January 2022. Students will have until midnight on Friday 21 January 2022 to finalise their university preferences for this offer round.

These changes follow the announcement today from the Minister for Education and Early Childhood Learning regarding changes to the HSC examination timetable and HSC results release.

Kim Paino, General Manager of Marketing and Engagement said that a clear path ahead for students is very welcome.

‘It’s great news for students to know that they will be sitting their exams, and that there is certainty about when they will receive their results and when university offers will be made. We know how stressful and demotivating uncertainty can be, and we’re all really hopeful that this plan will help students re-focus and finish Year 12 in the best way possible.'

For more information, students and parents can connect with us on Facebook or Instagram for general queries. For more detailed questions UAC’s call centre is fully operational on (02) 9752 0200 Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
