Apply now, decide later: more than 2,500 courses are available
BEFORE the final HSC study period gets underway, now is the ideal time for Year 12 students to submit their application for uni in Semester 1, 2027. Applications are now also open for students completing the International Baccalaureate and interstate Year 12 students.
With more than 2,500 courses across hundreds of subject areas at 33 participating institutions now available, more than 36,000 students have already lodged their application. While additional courses will be added over the coming months, the vast majority of courses are live and available for selection.
UAC spokesperson Kim Paino says students who aren't sure what they want to study shouldn't let that hold them back.
‘We know a lot of school leavers aren't completely sure about what they want to study – and that's totally fine. The good news is they can change their preferences later. What's important is getting your application in now.’
Beyond course selection, applicants can also:
- apply for an early offer through the Schools Recommendation Scheme, NSW’s largest early offer scheme
- access support for disadvantage through the Educational Access Scheme
- reduce financial pressure by applying for an Equity Scholarship.
Students can explore courses on UAC's course search or attend a university open day to help make an informed decision.
