Final piece of the puzzle for HSC students

20 Jan 2022

MANY 2021 NSW HSC students will soon have the final piece of information they need to start planning their year ahead. Their ATARs were released today and they won’t have long to wait to find out if they’ve been offered a place at university in 2022.

The Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) will release offers for Year 12 students next Wednesday 26 January. Applicants will receive offers via email from 7.30am or they can check if they have an offer on UAC’s website.

Students have until midnight tomorrow, Friday 21 December, to finalise their course preferences for this round.

Kim Paino, General Manager of Marketing and Engagement at UAC, said: ‘It’s been a big day for students today with the release of results, but there’s no time to rest as they only have a small window in which to finalise their preferences. Now that they’ve got their ATAR, they should do their research about what adjustments they are eligible for and then include the courses they want to do and which give them a good chance of getting an offer in their preferences.'

This step-by-step video shows applicants how to change their preferences. Further information is also available on UAC’s website.

If students have any questions about their application and changing preferences, they can contact UAC Customer Service on (+61 2) 9752 0200.
