The Bachelor of Mathematics will equip you with highly transferable skills in problem-solving, data analysis, probability and variability, mathematical modelling, logistics and logic. You can also take advantage of opportunities on offer including scholarships from corporate partners, summer scholarships, and access to programs offered by the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI) ACE Network.

Throughout the Bachelor of Computer Science, you will study the theoretical foundations of computer science and IT, with the opportunity to specialise in a major. In your final year you will develop your own application as part of a team project developing solutions to real-world problems provided by our industry partners.

Bachelor of Computer Science: Artificial intelligence and big data, cyber security, digital systems security, game and mobile development or software engineering. You can also complete a double major from Computer Science or Information Technology. Bachelor of Mathematics: Applied statistics.

Assumed knowledge: Mathematics Advanced, any 2 units of English.

Recommended studies: Mathematics Extension 1.
