The Bachelor of Arts will equip you for today's rapidly changing world. You will develop skills and capabilities necessary to understand how the world has come to be the way it is today.
Throughout your Bachelor of International Studies, you will analyse national and global issues, learn about the forces shaping the modern world and the theories that underpin our understanding of important global issues. Students are encouraged to undertake study abroad to further expand their skills.Bachelor of Arts: Creative writing, English literatures, history, geography, global communications, Indigenous studies, international relations, legal studies, philosophy, politics, sociology, theatre studies Bachelor of International Studies: Global sustainable development, international history, international relations. All students complete a core of interdisciplinary international studies subjects.
Bachelor of Arts: Art historian, historian and heritage specialist in government policy, business administration and management, consultancy, publishing, teaching, marketing, working for international aid organisations, work in unions and non-government welfare agencies, diplomacy, university lecturing and research, archives and librarianship, journalism, advertising. Bachelor of International Studies: Diplomat, foreign affairs officer, government policy developer, international business consultant, interpreter, not-for-profit organisation officer, translator, United Nations worker.
Available as an additional year of study to meritorious students.
Assumed knowledge: Any 2 units of English.
