With the Bachelor of Business – Bachelor of Laws you will be equipped with a thorough grounding in the law, as well as a solid understanding of how the law operates in today’s dynamic and complex business environment. Combining law with business prepares you for a range of careers, giving you an edge as you gain a legal perspective on contemporary and socially responsible business practice.

As part of an integrated skills program, you will be equipped with experience in areas such as legal research, interviewing, legal drafting, advocacy and negotiation as well as provided opportunities to study abroad. In addition to your core subjects in business and law, you will select a business major to focus on.

Bachelor of Laws: Solicitor, barrister, policy officer in government departments, in-house lawyer in private companies and community legal centres, accounting, banking and finance, business and management, education, government administration, media and communications. Bachelor of Business: Accountant, advertising executive, analyst, auditor, banker, brand/product manager, business adviser, economist, event manager, exporter/importer, financial controller, fund manager, HR manager consultant, insurance broker, market researcher, policy adviser, stockbroker.
Bachelor of Laws: Eligible for admission as a lawyer in Australia, subject to completing state-approved Practical Legal Training (PLT). Further details for NSW students can be found at the Legal Profession Admission Board website.

Finance major: This course has been accepted into the CFA Institute Affiliation Program. Graduates are eligible to apply for membership of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Bachelor of Laws: Legal internship provides 20 working days of professional experience. Bachelor of Business: Optional internship with course credit.
Bachelor of Laws: Awarded on the basis of excellent performance throughout the course, as well as in a Legal Research Methodology subject and a Legal Research Thesis. Bachelor of Laws (Honours by Research) is available as an additional year of study to meritorious graduate students. Bachelor of Business: Available as an additional year of study to meritorious students.
