The Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) is the first stage of qualification required to work as a professional psychologist. Throughout the Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) you will undertake the scientific study of the human mind and its functions, especially those affecting behaviour. This degree provides comprehensive, foundational knowledge in the processes basic to human psychological functioning.
In the Bachelor of Business, you will gain practical, real-world experience and make professional connections. You will develop core skills across all business functions, as you build specialist knowledge in a chosen field to excel in today's dynamic and complex business environment.
Bachelor of Business: Accountancy, business law, economics, finance, human resource management, international business, legal studies, management, marketing, public relations, sports management and marketing, supply chain management, sustainable business Bachelor of Arts (Psychology): Biological psychology and learning, cognitions and perception, development and social psychology, personality, psychology of abnormality.
Bachelor of Business: Accountant, advertising executive, analyst, auditor, banker, brand/product manager, business adviser, economist, event manager, exporter/importer, financial controller, fund manager, HR manager consultant, insurance broker, market researcher, policy adviser, stockbroker. Bachelor of Arts (Psychology): Drug and alcohol counselling, health education, human resource management, industrial relations, public relations, market and social research.
Bachelor of Arts (Psychology): Accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council. Students must complete an additional honours year to meet the academic requirements for eligibility for provisional registration as a psychologist. Further postgraduate study and training is required for full accreditation. Bachelor of Business: The University of Wollongong has been awarded with the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) accreditation. Bachelor of Business: Available as an additional year of study to meritorious students. Bachelor of Arts (Psychology): Graduates who have completed an extended major in Psychology can apply for entry to the honours year, which is a requirement for provisional accreditation as a psychologist. Entry is competitive.
