Throughout the Bachelor of Psychological Science, you will gain comprehensive, foundational knowledge in the processes basic to human psychological functioning. This degree alone will not qualify you to be a practicing psychologist, rather it is the first stage of qualification required.Bachelor of Business: Accountancy, economics, finance, human resource management, international business legal studies, management, marketing, public relations, sports management and marketing, supply chain management, sustainable business.
Bachelor of Psychological Science: Biological psychology and learning, cognitions and perception, development and social psychology, personality, psychology of abnormality.
Studying psychology with business is ideal for those seeking a career in Human Resources, Marketing, Public Relations, or dispute mediation. This would also be suited to those seeking a career in organisational or workplace psychology, business development, management consultancy and business coaching. Bachelor of Psychological Science: Accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council. Students must complete an additional honours year to meet the academic requirements for eligibility for provisional registration as a psychologist. Further postgraduate study and training is required for full accreditation. Bachelor of Psychological Science: Graduates who have completed an extended major in Psychology can apply for entry to the honours year, which is a requirement for provisional registration as a psychologist. Entry is competitive. Bachelor of Business: Available as an additional year of study to meritorious students.
