Accredited through the Australian Human Resource Institute (human resource management major). The Newcastle Business School is one of only 43 business schools in NSW to be accredited by both EQUIS and AACSB, earned by fewer than 5% of the world's business programs.
Students will complete 140 hours of supervised placement within their third year of study that will enable them to apply knowledge developed throughout their studies, acquire new knowledge and build professional networks to support career readiness. The professional experience placement course provides an opportunity to undertake workplace experience in a desired career field, in any of the business majors. A range of opportunities are available to work with private businesses, government, not-for-profit organisations, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and start-ups.
Available to students as a separate program with a duration of one year full-time (or part-time equivalent). Entry requirements apply.
