This flexible double degree allows you to create your unique skill set across arts and science. You’ll choose from a wide range of hands-on, exploratory majors across both disciplines.
In your Science degree, you’ll learn how to apply your expertise to real-world challenges across various industries. With 27 majors on offer, from earth science to psychology, mathematics to biotech, you’ll gain in-demand, transferable skills that you can apply to almost any industry.
In your Arts degree, you’ll have the freedom to explore humanities, creative arts, social sciences, languages or business, with 29 majors on offer. You’ll have hands-on learning experiences focusing on personal development and career training. Guided by world-leading experts, you’ll develop a broader understanding of the world and gain necessary, transferable skills to impact the world positively.
Talented Students Program: The Science Talented Students Program introduces high performing students entering the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) to cutting-edge, world-class research at UNSW Science. The program offers these students exposure to research, networking opportunities and provides a degree that is flexible and tailored to suit students' needs and talents.
Invitation to participate in the program is made by the Dean of Science on the basis of outstanding secondary education performance (ATAR or equivalent). All incoming students are assessed for eligibility including non-high school leavers. High performing current UNSW Science students in the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) will be invited to join at the end of their first year.

Professional recognition
The Psychology major is an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited 3-year undergraduate sequence in Psychology and is the first step on the six-year pathway to becoming a registered professional psychologist.

Assumed knowledge: Mathematics Advanced or Mathematics Extension 1 (depending on chosen area of study) plus one or more of Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science, Physics.
