In this degree you will study the design, construction and use of computer systems. You’ll gain expertise in the basic principles behind computing tools, operating systems, compilers, translators and computer hardware, and learn about the design and development of hardware and software tools for developing computer applications.
The Bachelor of Fine Arts includes several distinct specialisations, from which you can choose: Animation and Moving Image, Art Theory, Music, and Visual Arts. You’ll learn from experts who will build your technical skills and knowledge in practical and theoretical classes. Your career will be developed though the strong industry links that are embedded in all our specialisations.

Bachelor of Computer Science: Artificial intelligence, computer networks, database systems, eCommerce systems, embedded systems, programming languages, security engineering. Bachelor of Fine Arts: Animation and moving image, art theory, music (including creative practice, pedagogy, sonic arts), and visual arts.
Software engineering and development, digital security, database development, game development and systems analysis. Animation and moving image: Animator, 3D artist, Digital publishing, Digital communications specialist, Art director, Advertising director, Film producer, Television producer, Visual effects designer. Art Theory: Arts and cultural management, policy making and administration, Art and design criticism, communications and journalism. Music: Performance, Arranging and composing, Academia, Classroom music teaching, Audio engineering. Visual Arts: Art direction, advertising, and communications, Writer, Exhibition curator, Entertainer, Publisher, Educator, Theatre production, Urban Planner.
Students can apply for membership of the relevant professional engineering or science institutions within Australia and affiliated overseas bodies, including the Australian Computer Society. International recognition offers graduates the opportunity to travel and work overseas.
Students complete at least 60 working days of approved industrial experience as part of all accredited Engineering programs.
