The UNSW Bachelor of Design includes three distinct specialisations: Computational Design, Industrial Design and Integrated Design.
The Bachelor of Design is a three-year degree when studied full time with UNSW Arts, Design and Architecture (ADA). The degree focuses on the many ways design responds to historical, social, cultural and environmental values, and how this can influence the future.
Whether you are challenging the conventional ways materials, processes or technologies are used, or finding new solutions to old problems, this degree will provide you with the right skills for a career across a range of established and emerging fields of design.
Not only will you learn how to combine creativity and independent thinking with practical and technical skills, you will also discover a career that allows you to have a real and meaningful impact, each and every day.

Bachelor of Design can be combined with 424100 Bachelor of Commerce, 422145 Bachelor of Education (Secondary), 421051 Bachelor of Media.

Integrated design (including: graphics, object, textile, experience, interaction, 3D visualisation, fashion, industrial design and computational design.
Graphic designer, visual communicator, illustrator, user experience (UX) designer, event designer, textile designer, furniture designer, design strategist, packaging designer, automotive designer, medical device designer.

Portfolio (optional): Demonstrate your passions and skills alongside your ATAR. Depending on your preferred degree, you'll complete either a critical reflection or a portfolio, with successful applicants receiving an early conditional offer with an adjusted ATAR entry requirement for their preferred degree.
