Work-integrated learning (WIL) is an integral component of this course and provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and build professional relationships through real work, or work-like placements. UC fosters close industry connections who offer preferential access to work placement positions and training opportunities with companies such as Dialog Information Technology, Australian Sports Commission, Carers ACT, and the Department of Defence.
Final-year students can also complete a real-world industry capstone project while working in teams to produce and implement an IT system for a local business, government or community organisation.
The Australian Government subsidises the tuition fee for this course. The remaining balance is paid by the student. Current UC fee information.
