About

If your ambition is to be a fully qualified accountant with a particularly strong understanding of the finance industry's institutional structures and products, then this is the degree for you. Students will study a wide range of subjects including accounting, corporations law, tax law, derivatives, risk management techniques and credit assessment, and will learn how to manage risks in financial services firms and price a range of financial instruments, such as shares and debentures.

Business, Government and Law (BGL) are the primary institutions that shape our world. Graduates from BGL courses gain a unique insight into the interrelationships and dependencies between these three areas in the context of their specific field of study and the three BGL signature themes of enterprise and innovation, social value and responsibility, and sustainability.
