The Diploma of Sport Development provides you with a solid foundation in the theoretical and practical skills necessary to work effectively in the sport and leisure sector. This course will enable you to develop essential skills required for gaining employment, securing career progression, or progressing to further qualifications and training required to achieve their goals in the industry.
The Diploma of Sport Development is designed to prepare you to confidently start a career in community sports.
With successful completion of this diploma, you can receive credits for the subjects you complete and gain entry into the second year of a Bachelor degree.

Coaching practices, developing sports participation, high performance training and injury management, human nutrition, social and emotional wellbeing, sport management, sports marketing.
Sports development officer, competition manager, talent development officer.
Industry partnerships: We offer the Diploma of Sport Development Elite program in conjunction with The Simon Black Academy. The Simon Black Academy provides student-athletes with the opportunity to gain a university qualification whilst training in an Australian rules football academy environment.
Students pay the full cost of domestic fee-paying (DFEE) courses. Scholarships and FEE-HELP loans are available. Current Torrens University fee information.
