This course will help you learn how to bring events to life. You’ll learn how to come up with creative themes and formats and manage clients to ensure their expectation for an event is met. Gain a thorough understanding of the legal, marketing, financial and strategic concepts in event management. The course provides practical industry skills in project, strategic and event management and have the option to specialise in hospitality, tourism, marketing, public relations and advertising.

Business communications, customer experience management, understanding people and organisations, marketing fundamentals, the business environment, accounting for decision making, ethics and sustainability, organisational creativity and innovation.

Placement of the students with an endorsed host organisation(s) that provide a valuable resource for you to develop hands-on practical experience to ensure you graduate confident and job ready.
A key task will be the completion of a reflective journal covering the experience and the identification and analysis of key learning outcomes.
Work placement hours: 300 hours
