The Bachelor of Business develops the skills you need to research, critical analyse and create strategic business and marketing plans. You will have the opportunity to take a broad range of electives in marketing, public relations, events, tourism and hospitality. Additionally, you will complete the compulsory Industry Consulting Project subject which provides experience in a business environment first-hand and develops practical skills to complement your practical knowledge. We will support you in your responsibility to find an industry placement(s), so you graduate with invaluable work experience, a built-in professional network and a serious competitive advantage.

Accounting for decision making, business communications, customer experience management, marketing fundamentals, strategic management, the business environment, understanding people and organisations.
Students can also choose electives in the areas of event management, public relations and marketing specialisations.

An important element of this course is the placement of the students with an endorsed host organisation(s). Work placements provide a valuable resource for you to develop hands-on practical experience to ensure you graduate confident and job-ready. A key task will be the completion of a reflective journal covering the experience and the identification and analysis of key learning outcomes.
Work placement hours: 300 hours
