About

The Bachelor of Education (Secondary) is a gateway degree to work as a registered teacher. A distinctive suite of first year units gives excellent grounding in literacy, numeracy, science, and core subject content. All students undertake core learning in Indigenous education, sustainability, inclusive education, and other critical areas.

Graduates will be qualified as a secondary teacher, choosing teaching subjects from a wide range.

Some online units require attendance at on-campus workshops. This course is also available online.

Teacher education courses: All students enrolled in an initial teacher education program must complete and pass the benchmarking Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education during the course of their studies.
