About

SAE has a range of approaches to learning and teaching that can be activated to provide flexibility in the face of changing circumstances as required, to support student progression regardless of external factors.

SAE’s Bachelor of Computer Science equips you with the in-demand skills and technical knowledge you need to succeed in the technology-based industry of your choice.

Covering the fundamentals of computer science through to advanced strategies and techniques, you’ll build a diverse skillset in programming, networks, web development, cloud computing and AI. You’ll hone in-demand expertise in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java, and software and tools including Git, Unity, Maya and Kubernetes.

In addition to your core units, you’ll choose from a pool of electives to develop a specialisation in one of four areas: games programming, software development, dyber security or web development.

As you develop your technical expertise and work on more dynamic projects, you’ll collaborate with fellow SAE students and apply your skills to multidisciplinary projects in VFX, film, games and animation.

ATAR profile

ATAR-based offers only (semester 1, 2023)

Use all ATAR profile data as a guide only; it provides a broad overview of the ATARs and selection ranks of previous Year 12 students admitted into that course.
