In our Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours), you’ll develop expertise in a range of engineering specialities, and be prepared to create efficient, sustainable and innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
You’ll learn the technical aspects of geotechnics and hydraulic systems, develop strong foundations in structural and transportation engineering, and explore the possibilities of multi-disciplinary engineering fields.

Possible roles include: as a structural or construction engineer, geotechnical engineer, renewable energy engineer, transportation engineer, project estimator.

During this course, you will participate in one or more compulsory supervised work-based learning (WBL) placements designed to allow you to practise newly acquired skills, behaviours and knowledge while integrating theory with practice. The placements will immerse you in professional work culture, enabling you to develop and further enhance your skills.

One of English Advanced (Band 2) or English as an Additional Language or Dialect (Band 3) plus Band 2 in one of Mathematics Standard 2, Mathematics Advanced or Mathematics Extension 2.
