This double degree will prepare you for scientific practice or for commercial business and management roles in technical, regulatory, environmental, health or biomedical-oriented businesses, industries or government organisations. Choose from a range of science and business majors in accordance with your interests and career plans. As a graduate, you’ll have a broad understanding of science foundations and business principles.
For Science: Applied mathematics, archaeology (Brisbane South – Nathan only), biochemistry (Gold Coast only), biochemistry and molecular biology, chemistry, clinical sciences (Brisbane South – Nathan only), ecology, geography, marine biology (Gold Coast only), microbiology (Brisbane South – Nathan only).
For Business: Asian business, behavioural science, business analytics, economics, employment relations, events, finance, financial crime investigation and compliance human resource management, innovation and entrepreneurship, international business, logistics and supply chain management, management, marketing, political science and international relations, real estate and property development, sport management, sustainable business, taxation, tourism and travel.
You’ll be equipped with a wide-ranging skill set that will prepare you for roles across the scientific, technological, commercial and social sectors, making you highly employable across a range of career paths.
Assumed knowledge: Any two units of English (Band 3); Mathematics Standard 2 (Band 3) or Mathematics Advanced (Band 3).
