About

Across the world, scientists are collecting data from our environment and creating a better picture than we have ever known of how the biosphere works. Having data skills coupled with the competencies gained from your accredited environmental science major, you will be extremely well placed to contribute to this rapidly growing field. The data science elements of this double degree will facilitate the exploration, gathering, manipulation, visualisation, automation and interpretation of large data sets using digital platforms and includes hands-on experience across common data science tools. You will broaden your career options and develop a specialised skill set that can be applied to your chosen major of study and you will have the ability to work to find solutions to some of the greatest problems of our time.
