This degree will put you on the path to a career in the pharmacy, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or nutraceutical industries. At the No. 1 university for overall student experience in pharmacy (Good Universities Guide 2023/24), you’ll gain practical experience in state-of-the-art facilities, including our immersive virtual learning environment, formulation, pharmacology and analytical laboratories, and during professional practice placements. Our focus on interprofessional learning means that you’ll be well equipped to be part of the healthcare team after you graduate. You will gain a strong grounding in biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences, providing the foundation for systems-based integrated pharmacotherapeutics and pharmacy practice courses. You will take specialist courses in areas such as pharmacy management, complementary and alternative medicine, and pharmacology. High-achieving students can move into the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) in their third year.

Pharmacist in community and hospital pharmacy and medication management; roles in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, nutraceutical and related industries in areas including management, sales, marketing, business development, and local and national government agencies related to medicine use and regulation.
Graduates of this program will be eligible to apply for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia via the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) requirements.
