About

Human services professionals help improve people’s social, economic, personal and communal wellbeing. This degree will equip you to work with individuals, families, and communities. You will learn from experts with links to health and community sectors, and government and non-government organisations. You will learn about human services in Australia and develop the knowledge and skills needed to build a better future for individuals and families in need, younger and older people, and persons living with disability. Through the course of your studies, you will develop a clear and insightful understanding of the principles of social justice, empowerment, and social inclusion. You will complete a four-day-a-week, trimester-long practice placement in your final year of study. This degree is highly flexible with full-time, part-time and distance education study options available.

Note: Students can enrol in the Distance Education offering of the program and will be able to complete the program off-campus by distance learning via our online learning management system online with the exception of three compulsory five-day face-to-face intensive on-campus courses.

Note that some institutions further differentiate this information on their websites.
  2. The ATAR values exclude any adjustment factors.
