About

The ability to analyse vast quantities of data to extract relevant intelligence for commercial planning has become a highly sought-after skill. By combining these two degrees, you'll gain the leadership and solution-focused thinking of business and commerce backed by crucial skills in data science, helping to future-proof your career.

You'll graduate with the skills to analyse, manipulate, model and interpret large data sets using digital platforms and tools, including Python, Tableau, Hadoop and SQL, as well as the knowledge to apply these specialised skills to your business major to uncover patterns and generate valuable insights into business operations and decision making. You'll also gain work experience through internships and guest lectures, field trips, case study analysis and policy analysis and development, and have the opportunity to gain international experience through placements and exchanges, where you can take on global challenges. Additionally, every business student has access to BusinessPLUS, which offers mentoring, networking and career mapping workshops.
