Shape your career path. Our Diploma of Counselling is an excellent first step if you are seeking a rewarding and interesting career, want to increase your current qualifications or simply have an interest in psychology, social work and counselling.
You will be provided with a range of skills and knowledge including communication skills, an introduction to psychology and cultural intelligence. Our Diploma of Counselling will also prepare you with the necessary knowledge and skills required for progression into the APAC approved Bachelor of Psychological Science, however the Diploma is not itself an APAC approved course.

As a graduate of this course, you will have the opportunity to work in various fields including counsellor, counselling support worker, case worker and case manager.
The Australian Government pays part of the tuition fee for this course. The remaining balance is paid by the student. Current CDU fee information.
