The Bachelor of Public Policy will equip you with a comprehensive understanding of Australian public policies and related international policies. This program is designed to develop the skills and knowledge you need to gather and analyse a range of economic, demographic and social data, to evaluate public policies and programs, and to participate in policy design, advocacy and communication.
The Bachelor of Public Policy includes the Applied Policy Project, in which you will be engaged in an intensive student-led investigation of a policy issue or controversy relevant to your interests. You may also have the opportunity to attend the Australian National Internships Program.

Co-Curricular or Service Experience (Year 12 or IB applicants only): The Co-Curricular or Service Experience requirement has been removed from the application process for 2025 admissions. This change will make ANU more accessible to Year 12 students looking to join ANU. You don’t need to submit any additional documents regarding this change.
Minimum selection rank: 85.00. Due to the competitive nature of our admissions process, we cannot guarantee entry to applicants who meet the minimum selection rank for their preferred program.
