This double degree will develop a student’s understanding of modern business with sound commercial knowledge, as well as the skills to become a legal practitioner and specialise in areas such as forensic accounting, company law, or property law.
For Bachelor of Business Administration: Accounting, business law, finance, human resource management, information technology, international business, marketing. For Bachelor of Laws: Law (including commercial, international, and comparative and human rights law).
Lawyer, solicitor, barrister, in-house counsel, policy advocating, commercial law, industrial law and management, banking, management, international business, marketing, human resources management.
This degree has been specifically developed to meet the requirements for admission to practise law. The course has been approved by the Legal Profession Admission Board (QLD), the Legal Profession Admission Board (NSW) and the Victorian Legal Admissions Board.
From second year, one Community Legal Engagement unit in which students undertake 80 hours in a pro bono work experience setting.
