This course will enable students to experience an excellent legal education while choosing to study an Arts major and minor that will assist them to develop their creative, analytical and communication skills. Law will be taught at the North Sydney campus and Arts will be taught at the Strathfield campus. Politics and International Relations which will be taught at the North Sydney campus.
Communication, computing, drama, economics, English, history, law, politics and international relations, psychology (non-accredited), sociology, theological studies. Other Arts areas of study are available (restrictions apply).
Legal profession, media, government administration, politics, archives, museums and libraries, NGOs, both domestic and international, diplomacy, commerce and industry, communications and writing, creative industries, heritage organisations, social research, policy organisations; and academia.
This degree has been specifically developed to meet the requirements for admission to practise law. The course has been approved by the Legal Profession Admission Board (NSW), the Victorian Legal Admissions Board and the Legal Profession Admission Board (QLD).
From second year, one Community Legal Engagement unit in which students undertake 80 hours in a pro bono work experience setting.
