This double degree sharpens a business qualification with communication, research and analytical skills learnt in liberal arts fields such as psychology, economics or digital journalism. Combine these with a business specialisation, such as accounting, marketing or human resource management, and students will be equipped for a huge range of careers.
This course is offered across two campuses: students study their Arts units and some Commerce units at the Strathfield campus, and the remaining Commerce units at the North Sydney campus.
Accounting, communications, computing, drama, economics, history, human resource management, literature, marketing, mathematics, philosophy, politics and international relations, sociology, theological studies. Graduates are eligible for membership of the following organisations depending on the business major completed: Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, CPA Australia, Institute of Public Accountants, Australian Human Resources Institute and Australian Marketing Institute.
Required: Students must complete one unit of applied professional skills as a volunteer in a not-for-profit organisation and one unit of Professional Experience involving professional placement within a business firm (in the relevant discipline area) over a period of 105 hours.
