The Bachelor of Health Promotion is for students wanting to pursue a career in health-related fields with a particular focus on health promotion. Studies in health promotion are personally rewarding and future focused. Unlike other careers in the health sector, graduates of health promotion will work with both individuals and the broader community to impact their health and bring about positive change.
The Bachelor of Health Promotion is an integrated qualification of three years’ full-time study comprising discipline studies in core health, health science, health promotion and professional skills. Students develop not only a strong theoretical knowledge of health promotion principles but also practical health promotion skills through industry placement. Graduates will be job ready and have networks within industry upon graduation.

Health promotion officer or coordinator, health and lifestyle coordinator, policy support officer, community health development officer, community engagement officer, public health project officer or program development officer, environmental health coordinator, health and wellbeing manager, health education program officer, primary care partnership manager, youth services officer and, other health or programme planning positions within government, private providers, or NGOs.

English language requirements: All applicants must meet the minimum English language requirements for their chosen course of study.
Computer literacy: All applicants for entry to any course must meet minimum computer literacy standards as determined by the college, have a personal email account and unrestricted access to the internet.
Working with Children Check: For course s that involve work integrated learning where students may deal with children (ie under 18 years of age) a valid Working with Children Check must be supplied to the college prior to the student undertaking coursework. Applicants who anticipate failing a Working with Children Check should not apply for course entry.
