Postgraduate course
University of Canberra
Courses included
This course is about preparing students to accept leadership roles in their creative work. Its point of difference from general leadership courses is its focus on leading creative teams, units, projects and processes. It is a course designed for creative people at mid-career who are busy and ambitious. It entails a level of reflective thinking and discussion that is not usual in everyday creative work. By creative work we mean any creative field where teamwork, often drawing on multiple disciplines, is common, including so-called embedded creative work in industries not considered creative. Graduates will develop skills and perspectives that signal their leadership capabilities and equip them to perform leadership roles effectively. They will have trust in their skills and confidence to grow into more senior roles. In completing the course and joining the Compton at UC community they will form connections that aid their future work and enhance their career opportunities.
Students must have a bachelor degree in any field as approved by the University.
