Civil and construction engineering is based around the principles, techniques and innovations that shape the design, construction and maintenance of the built environment. The career prospects for graduates in this field are robust – Australian engineering job vacancies have hit a 10-year high; and in India and China, growth is expected to exceed more than 20 million new engineers over the next decade.
The Master of Engineering (Professional) in Civil and Construction Engineering is uniquely focused on developing the professional competencies required to work as an engineer in Australia and abroad. Through a blend of theory, practical applications, and hands-on projects, you’ll acquire the planning, design and management skills required to effectively address complex construction challenges from an integrated perspective. You’ll also develop capabilities in leadership, ethics, and workplace health and safety, so that you’re well-prepared to drive innovation within your organisation.
This degree is seeking accreditation with Engineers Australia, which will enable entry to professional engineering practice for bachelor graduates who don’t have Washington Accord accreditation status.
