Such connected smart objects, platforms and environments have been identified as the next big technology development that will enable changes to society and economic growth. The Internet of Things will become an inherent part of areas such as electricity, transportation, retail, energy management, resource control and management, healthcare and mining.
In this course, you’ll address challenges arising from the interconnection of the Internet and everyday devices by applying advanced and applied knowledge of the design, configuration and management of IoT systems and communication services and networking, You will become an expert in networking technologies and protocols, security, hardware, operating systems and application programming and will get hands-on experience in industry-recognised development methodologies, practices and tools.
