Effective planning is crucial in our rapidly urbanising and climate-changing world. Skilled planners make central contributions to shaping healthy places and inclusive communities, and to the sustainability of social, economic, economic, infrastructure and land-use development.
This professionally accredited Master of Planning will provide you with training and skills in urban and regional planning, including in planning law, strategic and statutory planning, urban development, creating smart and healthy cities, social impact and climate vulnerability assessment, First Nations planning, urban policy, placemaking and governance. It brings together leading researchers and practitioners to create a rich professional development experience for both established and aspiring planners.
Admission criteria
- An Australian level 7 bachelor qualification or recognised equivalent with a Weighted Average Mark of 60; and
- meet the minimum English language proficiency requirements.

Depending on your prior qualifications, work experience, Weighted Average Mark or other recognised prior learning, you may qualify for entry to a shorter duration of the course.
